The Biggest Gem in Our Store that Money Can’t Buy…
Is now available for your next gathering.
For 5 years, this treasure sat idle
We crossed Main Street in 2016, nearly quadrupling the size of Richter & Phillips Jewelers. Upstairs in our new showroom, we had the honor of opening our shop to host fundraising opportunities for organizations, like Dragonfly and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, and throw community events, like our highly-anticipated annual holiday party, Whiskey & Watches. But, our new home on the corner of 6th & Main also came with a little-known, coveted treasure only discoverable at the bottom of a gorgeous, white marble stairwell – a 1920s bank vault, iron door and all.
In 2020, we invested in the historic space leveraging its deco roots and filling it with Richter & Phillips history, transforming it into a place that we can create even more memories together. A place reimagined to serve as a versatile space to host and gather for all types of non-profits, clubs, and Cincinnati organizations – and all you have to do is book it!
A Queen City Gem
Shimmering with deco detailing, cloaked in jewel tones and rich velvet, The Vault is a unique, free space to mingle underneath the city. The Vault itself is stocked with a miniature beverage fridge tucked underneath a marble top bar. Sparkling glassware shimmers against a wood grained, blue and gold wallpaper opposite a grid of historic Richter & Phillips catalog memorabilia from the midst of the 1920s.
A unique space to host
Comfortably seating 8 inside The Vault, with a majestic hallway accommodating 10-15 in presentation style seating, The Vault’s versatility can accommodate a non-profit’s planning session and presentations or serve as a decadent backdrop for a book club’s monthly cocktail hour. The gathering possibilities are open to your creativity…
A jewelry store meant to gather…
We are pleased to invite you to stop by and explore a unique, historic landmark from our city’s history. We look forward to opening the space to host years of community events, fundraisers, and more because not only does The Vault offer Richter & Phillips room to grow, but it offers Cincinnati room to explore, room to learn, room to celebrate, and room to gather – all bundled up in our room to remember.
