Mornings with You—Jessica & Daniel
It started with a house party, a little serendipity, and two NKU students who didn’t know they’d just met their person. Jessica and Daniel first crossed paths in 2019 at a random house party in Clifton—but their love story didn’t officially begin until early 2020, right as the world was slowing down. While everything else felt uncertain, something steady and certain started to grow.
Jessica says she knew almost instantly.
“I told him I was going to marry him the first time he told me he was in love with me—during the first month of dating.”
It’s easy to see why. Daniel is her encourager, her grounding force, her reason to laugh harder than ever before. “He truly compliments all of me,” she says. “He’s my favorite person.”
A Sweet Morning in Blue Ash
The proposal was quiet and sentimental. On a rare Saturday off from her weekend job at Lace Bridal Couture, Jessica and Daniel had planned a simple morning date: coffee and a walk. (My dream date, and he knows that) But what she didn’t know was that Daniel was working behind the scenes to make the day unforgettable.
After a perfect honey oat milk cold brew from Park Pour in Blue Ash, they headed to Swaim Park. That’s when Jessica spotted Olivia—her friend and fellow wedding vendor—sitting on a park bench, camera in hand. The moment she saw her, she knew. Daniel dropped to one knee. Jessica said yes.
“I slightly blacked out,” she laughs, “but it was the easiest yes of my life.”
What Comes Next
The two are so excited to get married, but first—they’re making a home. Their sweet rescue pup is about to have a backyard of his own, and the couple is settling into a new chapter full of fresh beginnings and full hearts. “We’re surrounded by the greatest support system a couple could have,” Jessica says.
And of course, we can’t end this story without a huge shoutout to George, who helped Daniel find the perfect ring. “Dan has said nothing but incredible things about him!”
