The Story of Marci & Jordan
Where The Music Started...
Marci and Jordan met as students at the University of Cincinnati, introduced through mutual friends. At the time, Jordan was a staple behind the DJ booth at every party spot worth going to—and Marci? Let’s just say she knew where the music (and the cute DJs) were.
“We were friends for a while before we started officially dating,” Marci says. That all changed in 2013, when she moved home from a summer internship in NYC and their friendship started to hum with something more.
Spoiler: it wasn’t just the bass line.
Demo Day & Destiny
Fast forward to 2019, and they bought a house together—cue the montage of paint-covered clothes, toolboxes, and YouTube tutorials. They took on a full renovation, mostly DIY-style with help from Jordan’s family. And just when they thought they couldn’t get more “in it together,” the world shut down.
“I knew we’d stay together when COVID hit shortly after,” Marci says. “The state of the world and the process of living through a remodel during this time only made us stronger and brought us closer together.”

From Barcelona, With Love
A few Christmases ago, Marci unwrapped a surprise—plane tickets for a European vacation Jordan had planned for the following fall. (Legend.) In September 2024, they set off on a whirlwind trip across London, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Florence, and Rome.
But it was a beach day just outside of Barcelona, on the dreamy coastline of Lloret de Mar, that would become the chapter they’ll never forget. After sun-soaked lounging and seaside snacks, Jordan suggested a walk up a scenic trail to a castle perched above the sea.
Marci: “I turned around from taking a photo and he was on one knee.”
Cue the gasps. Cue the cheers. Cue a lovely couple nearby who snapped the perfect candid of the moment (thank you, kind strangers with good angles).
Wedding Planning Mode: Activated
Catch them saying “I do” in 2026! Between now and then, they’ll continue crafting a life (and home) together—and of course, planning a wedding that’s bound to be filled with style, intention, and love.
We’re especially grateful to share Marci and Jordan’s story—not just because it’s truly special, but also because Marci is right in our neighborhood. She owns the vintage shop just a few doors from our showroom, and we’ve admired her impeccable style, vibrant spirit, and the genuine joy she brings wherever she goes. Watching this beautiful new chapter unfold for her and Jordan is truly an honor.
