In 1896, a man named Richter, and three Phillips brothers set out with a vision to offer special gifts that mark life’s most meaningful moments. What began as a humble catalog showroom grew through decades of change, evolving with the city of Cincinnati and the people who call it home.
Like time itself, their journey was not without trials. During the Great Depression, The Richter & Phillips Company nearly closed its doors—until one diamond salesman changed it all. In 1930, Frederick Fehr took a pocket full of diamonds to the First National Bank and purchased the company, ensuring its story lived on through his family, who have upheld its legacy ever since.
Now in its fourth generation of Frederick Fehrs, Richter & Phillips Jewelers remains a family-owned destination for engagement rings and Rolex timepieces—a place where love is celebrated, achievements are honored, and time is marked by the moments that matter most.
